The bamboo motif and tasteful tropical elegance make this a great budget hotel in Waikiki. It is located about one block from Waikiki beach. BREAKERS The breakers hotel is one block from the beach. This budget hotel Waikiki beach is a small quaint hotel like they used to have years ago before the high rises took over. ASTON ALOHA SURF HOTEL Aston Aloha Surf Hotel CASTLE PACIFIC MARINA INN This hotel is located in Honolulu close to the Airport. It has clean rooms and good prices. The only problem is it is a 20 minute drive to Waikiki. If you don’t care about location, this is a good choice. QUEEN KAPIOLANI HOTEL This budget hotel Waikiki beach is named after Hawaii’s most beloved queen. The hotel is decorated in elegant Victorian simplicity with many large paintings of Hawaiian royalty on the walls. The hotel overlooks the 108 acre Kapiolani park with views of close by Diamond Head Crater. It is one half block to Waikiki beach and one half block to the Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium. This hotel is a very nice choice. Oh by the way, this hotel is 100% smoke free. PARK SHORE WAIKIKI This budget hotel Waikiki beach has also recently been renovated. It is on the other end of Waikiki close to Queen Kapiolani Park and right by the Honolulu Zoo. This hotel is located in a lush quiet setting with great views. It truly is a premium location without the premium price. Almost as good as staying at Queen Kapiolani Hotel. OHANA MAILE SKY COURT This is a great budget hotel in Waikiki. The Maile Sky Court is a 44 story high hotel at the gateway (beginning) to Waikiki. This hotel is clean and has very comfortable rooms. A lot of the rooms have wonderful views of the mountains or the ocean. This hotel has a laundry facility, newly renovated pool deck, bar, and it also has a T G I Fridays restaurant within the hotel. I have stayed here two times and it is very nice. It is about one and one half blocks to the beach. If I were to stay at one of these budget hotels in Waikiki again, I would probably choose Queen Kapiolani Hotel because of the quiet location, the paintings, and the walking distance to hula shows, the zoo, the aquarium, the beach and Diamond Head. My second choice would be the Ohana Maile Sky Court.
