Activities and attractions on Lanai are much more limited than the other Hawaiian Islands. Lanai City is where the main populations as well as the island’s only airport is located. Lanai boasts two Four Seasons Hotels and several world class golf courses.

There are surfing lessons on the island as well as Kayaking, scuba diving, horseback riding and snorkeling. The best way to see Lanai is with a four wheel drive vehicle. Mountain biking and hiking are also excellent activities to enjoy on the island of Lanai. One of the best places to go 4x4ing is Keahiakawelo (Garden of the Gods). Keahiakawelo in the northern part of the island is an area of volcanic rock that has been eroded over thousands of years. The years of erosion has created a multitude of shapes of differing textures and colors. You will think you have been transported to another planet. Traveling east from Lanai city you can enjoy Mount Lanaihale and the lush Lanaihale rainforest.
