Island Hopping

Island hopping

One really great way to enjoy your vacation time is by Island hopping. You can see just how diverse each island can be.

It is very easy and relatively inexpensive to fly to a neighboring island from Honolulu airport. When I go Island hopping, I plan ahead of time exactly what I want to see and do. I usually try to find a good deal on a Fly/drive. I have found it more inexpensive at times to rent a car separately. I try to book an early outgoing flight and a late return flight sot that I can extend my visit to the other island as long as possible. If you wish to just book a tour on another island, this is a good option.

Each Island is quite different and has it’s own wonders to discover.

Discover Hawaii and it’s rainforests, waterfalls, active flowing volcano, black sand beaches, the wonderful quiet town of Hilo, the awesome waterfalls and the Kona coast.

Discover Maui and the sunrise on a 10,000 foot dormant volcano, the beautiful scenic road to Hana, the wondrous Iao valley, hiking in the bamboo forest, or just relaxing on one of the many stretches of sandy beaches.

Discover Kauai and it’s rugged 15 mile long Napali coast, the beautiful fern grotto, luscious green vegetation, Hanalei bay, sunny Poipu beach and for a truly great adventure, try “Flumin da ditch”.

Discover Molokai and hike to a waterfall, discover kayaking or scuba diving or ride a mule down to Father Damian’s “Place of refuge”.

Discover Lanai and it’s pineapple fields. With only 30 miles of paved road, Lanai is a great place to get a 4 x 4 and discover Lanai’s untouched beauty.
