Hilo Hattie was a very popular Hawaiian entertainer in the 1950’s and 1960’s. She was born on October 28, 1901 and started her career as a teacher. She soon learned that people loved her singing and dancing and especially her comedic antics. She loved to see people enjoying themselves and became a very well known entertainer in the islands.
