MID PRICED HOTELS IN WAIKIKI
Mid priced hotels in Waikiki, or and Oahu accommodations, as you may have already realized, are not real cheap. Honolulu Hawaii hotels and especially hotels in Waikiki are usually pretty steep. This is why I always suggest a package deal. Package deals to Oahu are always cheaper. Here are some of the mid-priced hotels in Waikiki that I found are pretty nice and are on, or close to the beach. THE OUTRIGGER WAIKIKI ON THE BEACH This is a great hotel right on Waikiki beach. The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar and grill and beautiful views of Diamond Head. More expensive because it is on the beach. They offer deluxe accommodations and very close to world class shopping. OUTRIGGER REEF ON THE BEACH This hotel is the best price for a hotel right on Waikiki beach. It has some nice restaurants, a great bar and is located on the beach right next to Fort DeRussy. OHANA ISLANDER WAIKIKI This is one of the nice 3 star mid priced hotels in Waikiki located in a busy shopping area less than two blocks from the beach. It is centrally located in the heart of Waikiki. The royal Hawaiian shopping center is across the street and Planet Hollywood is next door. There is a swimming pool and fitness center on site. OHANA WAIKIKI BEACHCOMBER This hotel is centrally located and steps from the beach. The rooms include a refrigerator, safe, air conditioning, phone and television. This is a nice comfortable mid priced Oahu accommodation. OUTRIGGER REGENCY ON BEACH WALK This is an all suite hotel located in Waikiki and just about ˝ block from the beach. The one and two bedroom units have air conditioning, safe, cable television, spacious bathrooms, kitchenette. This is a great choice if you plan to do some grocery shopping and eat some meals in the room to save money. ALA MOANA HOTEL This mid priced hotel in Waikiki is located next to the Ala Moana shopping center and about 2 blocks to Ala Moana Beach Park. This is a nice hotel with television, refrigerator, safe, air conditioning. These are nice rooms for a good price and close to a great beach. OUTRIGGER LUANA WAIKIKI With the recent 11 million dollar renovation this is now considered a vacation condominium rental. It is steps from the beach and includes all of the amenities of a condominium.
THE WYLAND WAIKIKI This new hotel inspired by the magnificent sea and the creative vision of renowned artist Wyland. The rooms are ocean colors with pillow top dream beds, bamboo inlaid furniture, high definition TV. And wireless internet. There is an aquarium in the lobby, beautiful and tranquil pool outside and a sculpture garden filled with Wyland sculptures including dolphins, whales and sea turtles. This is a really nice mid priced Oahu accommodation. OHANA EAST HOTEL This hotel has a nice lobby and is centrally located by the beach. The hotel has three restaurants, espresso café, fitness room, swimming pool, self service laundry, video arcade. The rooms have air conditioning, cable TV and a refrigerator. PACIFIC BEACH HOTEL This ocean front hotel has an oceanarium restaurant, 837 rooms and each room has a view of either the ocean, the mountains , Diamond Head or the city. Another good choice for one of the mid priced hotels in Waikiki are the hotels that were acquired by ResortQuest. RESORTQUEST AT THE EXECUTIVE CENTRE HOTEL This four story all suite hotel is in the center of the Honolulu commercial district close to the Aloha Tower Marketplace. All the suites have floor to ceiling windows with mountain, ocean or city views. There is a pool, fitness room and complimentary breakfast. They also have a sauna and spa. The rooms do have refrigerators. RESORTQUEST WAIKIKI JOY HOTEL Resortquest offers mid priced hotels in Waikiki and this one has a large open air lobby with Italian marble and lots of Island artwork. It is located two blocks from the beach. The rooms have private in room spa tubs, stereo equipment and good soundproofing. All guests receive a free continental breakfast. The rooms do have refrigerators. ASTON HONOLULU PRINCE HOTEL This is a clean, comfortable mid priced hotel in Waikiki on the back side of The International Marketplace. They have one and two bedroom suites with full kitchens. The rooms can accommodate six and this hotel is located two blocks from Waikiki beach. This is a good choice for families.

The offer a free continental breakfast and the rooms have cable TV and refrigerators. RESORTQUEST WAIKIKI CIRCLE HOTEL This is one of the mid priced hotels in Waikiki that is right across the street from Waikiki beach. They have an open air lobby with seascape murals and sand textured floor. The rooms have rattan furniture with bright tropical fabrics and colorful fish wallpaper. There is a refrigerator in the room. RESORTQUEST WAIKIKI BEACH HOTEL This mid priced hotel in Waikiki has been newly refurbished. It is located across the street from Waikiki beach. 85% of the rooms have ocean views. The hotel guests get a free breakfast daily and there are restaurants in the hotel and refrigerators in the room. Condominium resorts by ResortQuest. RESORTQUEST PACIFIC MONARCH This newly renovated condominium resort in Waikiki is less than two blocks from the beach. The offer junior suites that have kitchenettes and the suites have full kitchens. Floor to ceiling glass doors open up one entire wall to the trade winds. RESORTQUEST WAIKIKI TOWER This condominium is one of the mid priced hotels in Waikiki over looking Waikiki beach. This luxurious condo style resort offers one and two bedroom suites decorated lavishly. All suites have spacious lanais overlooking Waikiki beach. They have fully equipped kitchens and a washer and dryer. The recreation deck offers a heated pool, spa and billiard area. RESORTQUEST AT WAIKIKI BANYAN This condo resort is a family favorite. They have large one bedroom suites less than two blocks from Waikiki beach. There is an open air lobby with a waterfall and fish pond. There is an exercise facility and the rooms have microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. RESORTQUEST WAIKIKI SUNSET This condo offers island style accommodations two blocks from Waikiki beach. The offer one and two bedrooms with a complete kitchen, private lanai and a recreation area with heated pool, sauna, tennis court and barbeques.
