Another great choice for an adventure is to take a fly/drive package toe another island for the day. If you take a fly/drive to Hilo on the big island of Hawaii, you can drive to the beautiful and very tall Akaka falls and then drive over to the Volcanoes National Park and see a real active volcano and watch the lava flow into the sea. On the way back, you can stop and see the black sand beach or even drive to a green sand beach. If time allows you can stroll through the beautifully peaceful Lilioukalani gardens in Hilo.
