TRAVEL LINKS
The following travel links are all you will need to book your trip to Oahu and save a lot of money in the process. Check out the Hawaii activity link for some really great deals on attractions in Oahu.

Hotels combined is the best site of all of the travel links I have found on the internet to get the cheapest prices on hotels. It is a true one stop shop. The free search engine checks all of the biggest sites simultaneously and in a few seconds gives you the best price available. This eliminates the need to check each major website one by one in order to compare prices and availability. This is the only website I use to book a hotel. I have saved Hundreds of dollars in the past year. Hotels Combined checks: Orbitz, Hotwire, Travelocity, Hotel.de, Active Hotels, Rates to go, Agoda, Gta hotels, Venere, Cheap Tickets, Hotel Club, Octopus Travel, Booking.com, Hotels.com, super break, last minute.com,j Last minute travel.com, Intercontinental Hotels, Late rooms, asia rooms.com, etc.

Hawaiian Airlines is one of the best carriers I have flown on. They are not always the cheapest, but in my opinion, they are the best. The crew seems to really enjoy their jobs and have the true Aloha Spirit. They make a long flight enjoyable. This is a very good travel link.

Travelocity is probably the site I have used the most. You can search: flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises and vacation packages. They are on of the cheapest on package deals. I have booked probably 50 or more trips or car rentals through Travelocity. It is trusted and user friendly. They are also a gay friendly travel site. Make sure you check out this travel link.

Kayak is another great travel link website that checks over 200 travel sites at once to find the cheapest fares instantly. If you find a fare you want to book, they redirect you to the airline agency to book your flight securely. You can also search for hotels, cars and cruises. I have used kayak on a number of occasions.

I just found out about another travel link to find cheap airfare to Honolulu or anywhere else in the world.I am including it here on this page for your convenience. It is called Discounts 4 Members. Discounts for members offers a 30 day free trial and they guarantee 50% off orbitz and priceline's airfares. They also give you $150.00 worth of free gasoline gift cards just for trying them out. It is a pretty good deal because their membership fee for one year is only $69.00. I think with the rising gas prices and high airfares, this is a really great break for those of us who want to save a bit of money. Although I have never used them, I will soon become a member.

Booking Buddy.com lets you search each vendor such as: Expedia, Kayak, Orbitz, Cheap Tickets, Farecast, Cheap Air, Travelocity, Hotwire, Side Step, One travel and C-Fares. You have to search each separately. The great thing about Booking Buddy is when you type Honolulu as your destination, a new window opens with Hawaiian Airlines, One Travel and a new site called ATI Flights. ATI Flights has some really great fares. You have to check different times throughout the day for a few days, because the fares change frequently.

Hotwire offers cheap travel deals on flights, hotel rooms, rental cars, vacation packages and cruises. Sometimes they are cheaper but I have honestly never purchased through them. I have found hotels on Hotels combined that I purchased through hotwire.

Orbitz is a unique travel link site like Travelocity in which they advertise that they are a gay friendly travel site. Orbitz is a fast, easy way to find hotels, airline tickets, vacation packages, travel deals, car rentals and cruises.

Cheap Tickets.com offers cheap fares for flights, vacation packages, hotels, car rentals, train fares, cruises, event tickets, last minute trips, plus a category called cheap of the week. I have only purchased once from Cheap tickets and they were accurate and I had a good experience with them.

Priceline.com advertises: flights, hotels, rental cars, vacations and cruises at exclusive travel discounts you won’t find anywhere else. They have been cheaper on a few hotels I have booked in the past. Priceline also allows you to name your own price on certain travel arrangements. If it is accepted, that is what you pay.

At Tripology you just submit a free trip request and you get connected with three travel agents specialized in your places of interest. They even book cruises. The nice thing about these agents is they go above and beyond to make sure every detail is taken care of. You will have a great experience dealing with somebody who has first-hand knowledge of your itinerary. Visit their site and read their reviews. There is no charge or obligation for submitting a request. This is another helpful travel link.

C-fares is a totally different way to find wholesale flights and deep discounts on cheap airfares. They not only find you below market fares from wholesalers, but they allow you to bid on airfares. Check it out and see how it works.

Economy Travel finds really great rates on travel to Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Central and South America. They offer special group fares for groups of 8 or more. This is a great international travel link.

Expedia allows the visitor the option to purchase airline tickets, make hotel reservations, find vacation packages, car rental and cruise deals. This site has been rated #1 for customer satisfaction.

Carnival Cruise lines is the true fun ship line. I have traveled on a few different lines, but I prefer Carnival by far. They seem to have a younger crowd and more young family oriented crowd. The ages seem to range from 20 - 50. Some of the other lines cater to the older retired crowd. I like to do a lot of fun activities and Carnival offers tons of things to do. I have cruised Carnival 4 times and am planning my 5th in August ‘08. They also offer a low price guarantee.

Cruise Direct guarantees the lowest prices on Carnival, Celebrity, Crystal, Disney, Holland America, Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Windstar cruises. I like the 15 day Round-trip cruises from Los Angeles to Hawaii that some cruise lines offer. This cruise is also a fantastic price for 15 days and 5 Hawaiian ports of call.

Hotel club offers discount hotel rooms world wide. They offer fast secure service to over 35,000 hotels in 120 countries.

Hotels.com offers a guarantee that they have the lowest hotel rates. Some of the great rates I have gotten from Hotels Combined were from Hotels.com. They offer everything from luxury hotels to budget hotels. They also offer flights and vacation packages.

Marriot has a website that gives you a good price on any of their hotels world-wide.

Vacation Home Rentals is a website that lists over 11,500 vacation rentals for rent by owners! They have vacation villas, homes and condos all over the world including Hawaii and Florida.

This is an awesome website filled with thousands of DVDs about travel all over the world. They have a great selection of DVDs about Oahu and all of the other Hawaiian Islands.
You can search the following websites to find the best rate on a rental car. I usually use Thrifty or Enterprise. They most often have the best prices for the locations I am looking to rent from. Sometimes one of the others are a lot cheaper, so it pays to compare if you are on a budget.

This is a really important travel link. Travel guard is a fantastic insurance to protect your trip. They cover more than 6 million travelers per year. They cover trip delays and cancellations, emergency medical and Health expenses, lost baggage and las minute flight changes. With the airlines and travel industry Bankruptcies that have occurred lately, it is well worth having travel guard insurance. They offer many types of coverage to fit your needs.
