Da Big Kahuna Restaurant

Da Big Kahuna is a cute little restaurant that offers puupuus and sandwiches at the bar or soup and salad, burgers and seafood entrees at a table. The interior is nicely decorated with a surfer theme and the bar has pool tables and darts for after dinner fun. This is a fun restaurant with a great atmosphere and is more geared toward the adult crowd. I have had a burger and a few drinks here on a number of occasions and it can be a really fun place. Although it is a very small establishment, the prices are very resonable, the service is very good and the people who work here are very friendly. I think this is a nice place to have a casual lunch or dinner. I have not tried the chicken wings, but from I have heard, they are awesome. This is also another great place to just sit, have a few drinks and watch the people. I always enjoy watching people. The menu includes Hawaiian style plate lunches, american classics such as hamburgers, cheeseburgers, sandwiches etc., They also have quesadillas, fresh fish, buffalo wings, buffalo shrimp, and Hawaiian style fries. There is something on the menu for everybody. The most popular drink at the bar is the fishbowl. The drink is actually served in a fishbowl and it contains three types of rum, blue curacao and sprite. Be careful, share the drink with a friend or you may be the person in the fishbowl that everybody is watching. Enjoy the sportsbar atmosphere and flat screen televisions that are always showing some sort of sporting event. This is a great place to relax with friends. A lot of locals do just that. On any given night, you will see locals enjoying a drink and watching a game. Have a great time.
