If you are looking for a great hostel in Waikiki, I suggest Waikiki Beachside hostel. This great hostel was rated the #1 hostel in 2006. It is less than a block from Waikiki Beach and is the largest hostel in Honolulu. It is close to the beach, nightlife and all the activities and attraction in Waikiki. This hostel offers discount surf rentals, outdoor lounge, free barbeque every Sunday, High speed internet café, phone in every room with free local calls. The have a colored television in every room. The last Oahu hostel is located on the North Shore in the famous surfing town of Haleiwa. This is a beautiful area of Oahu ant the quaint town of Haleiwa is just wonderful. The people are genuinely friendly.
