I tell a lot of people to go to the grocery store or longs in the Ala Moana Shopping Center and buy sodas and bread and chips for in room or picnic lunches. I always take ham and peanut butter and jelly with me when I travel to Oahu. There are a large amount of fast food chains such as McDonalds, Jack In The Box and Taco Bell. If you are looking for a family friendly restaurant, I would suggest “I Love country cafe at Piikoi St., Ala Moana Plaza. Their phone number is (808) 596-8108. They offer everything from meatloaf, chicken, burger, vegetarian dishes and stir fry at reasonable prices.
In Ward Warehouse about a block away from The Ala Moana Shopping Center is the Old Spaghetti Factory. They have a very affordable “just for kids” menu for children 12 and under. This menu offers a $3.75 spaghetti with choice of sauce, meatballs or macaroni and cheese. The kids love it.
Just outside of the International Market Place is cheeseburger in paradise. They offer a great burger for a very fair price. Finally, we come to Zippy’s.
